Diary

You can use the nordic walking technique for all kinds of walks, you don't have to join with other nordic walkers, you can walk with other people who use hiking poles, and with people who aren't using any poles.

For further information about any non-nordic guided walks around here, try the Exmoor Society website (exmoorsociety.com - non members welcome on all walks, donation requested), the Exmoor National Park website (events section) or the Ramblers Association website.

An individual introduction to the nordic walking technique can be booked on a date and at a time to suit you, just call me on 01398 341281.

For details of the hours, the cost and the locations, please click on the Activities page, and then on the Introductory page in the submenu beneath it.

All you need to do, once you have decided that you might give it a go, is get in contact with me and you won't need to wait any longer.

I do occasionally run open group day or 2 half day classes at Dulverton and also at Killerton Park (National Trust). However I think that you get the best value for your time and money if you come in small numbers - one person, or you and up to 3 friends, or 2 couples - this gives me the chance to give each of you the individual tuition you deserve. It's intensive, but it works. You will be able to go at your pace, not someone else's, you can concentrate on doing the things that are important to you, and you will be walking together, not in a strung-out, isolating, long crocodile.
