After a career working with government on energy and climate change, and studying for a degree in Environmental Science I really wanted to do something that was a bit more people focused but also involved connecting actively with nature. Hence Nordic walking was an ideal job for me. After 10 years of teaching Nordic walking i'm enjoying just as much as the day I started. Plus after all this time there's no way I can ever get lost in the forest!
I also teach Pilates and you may like to try that as well. It's a great complement to Nordic walking.

Pilates and Nordic walking are both wonderful activities that are kind to the body and really do complement each other. Pilates is great for strength and flexibility and Nordic walking for cardio vascular fitness. Both are ideal for overall well-being and mental health.
