ABOUT FIONA

After a career working with energy and climate change, I really wanted to do something that was a bit more people focused but also involved connecting actively with nature. Hence Nordic walking was an ideal job for me. After 10 years of teaching Nordic walking i'm enjoying just as much as the day I started. Nordic walking is a wonderful way to improve cardio vascular fitness, posture and wellbeing. I hope you will give it a try, it's so simple and very effective.
Hope to meet you soon.

Your Local Nordic Walking Instructor and Guide
Pilates and Nordic walking are both wonderful activities that are kind to the body and really do complement each other. Pilates is great for strength and flexibility and Nordic walking for cardio vascular fitness. Both are ideal for overall well-being and mental health.
I hope that you will come along and give either my Pilates or Nordic walking classes a try as they are suitable for all and a warm welcome awaits!

"I hugely enjoyed the Nordic walking tuition with Fiona, she breaks down the technique into simple steps and made it fun along the way. I'm a great advocate for Nordic walking, it gives you a very different exercise experience by stimulating so many senses meaning that you hardly think of it as exercise at all!"
Hayley Peters
Director of Patient Care. NHS
“Nordic walking really helps when walking longer distances with any kind of weight. When the children were younger in the toddler backpack, the poles really helped!”
